Progress and Time Management

Successful project is one that comes full circle, achieving the outcome that was set from the start!!!!!!.

Site Tiger uses the Progress and Time Management process to ensure the team is making satisfactory progress towards the project goals. The purpose is to track project variables – progress, cost&time. It involves co-ordinating people and resources, as well as integrating and performing the activities of the project

The overall objectives of the process are to:

  • Measuring the on-going project activities (where are we, against where we should be?)
  • Track and review actual project accomplishments and results against project management plans.
  • Identifying corrective actions to address risks and issues (how can we get back on track?)
  • Managing changes using our change control process,

Site Tiger process for progress and time management involves:

  • Monitoring and Written status reports for progress, procurement, manpower, equipment, materials etc.
  • Monitoring the performance of the design consultant and other consultants in respect of the deliverables associated with the agreed design program.
  • Manage, administer, coordinate and follow up all the activities of all the project parties in accordance with the project program in order to complete the project in time.
  • Updates to lists of action items, risks, problems, and issues.
  • Update the project master program at regular intervals and as necessary to reflect the current project statusUpdates to the plan and schedule, to reflect actual progress
  • Audit and review reports of the activities and work products under development
  • Progress monitoring through expenditure & commitment statement
  • Corrective action/new strategy to achieve the targets.
  • Reallocation of resources.
  • Study and recommend to the employer in a timely manner, in relation to claims and variations requests submitted by the contractor under the contract.
